Protoss contains some of the most powerful units in the game. Zealot/sentry is very powerful early game. Immortals are the defining unit of mid game. Tempest/mothercore is the most powerful unit composition in the games especially when supported by dingles and thors. And we haven't even discussed archons or void rays yet, which can be power houses in their own rights. Overall, the protoss race forces opponents to counter properly, which allows for many noob friendly build orders and timing attacks. Highly recommend for newer players to learn by playing protoss.
